The Message of Salvation

1. No one is good enough.
“There is no one righteous, not even one”  ROMANS 3:10

2. You are a sinner.
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”  ROMANS 3:23

3. God loves us, even though we were sinners.
“But God demonstrated His love for us, in this, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  ROMANS 5:8

4. God’s Gift – Jesus Christ.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”  ROMANS 6:23

“For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not by works, so that no one can boast.”  EPHESIANS 2:8-9

5. You must turn away from your sin.
“Repent and believe the gospel.” (The Good News)  MARK 1:15

6. The required action – believe and confess.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto  righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  ROMANS 10:9-10

7. The result – Salvation.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord WILL BE SAVED.” ROMANS 10:13

“Neither is there Salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, which we must be saved.”  ACTS 4:12
